Local & Global Impact

New Hope strives to be a Global Local Church by living out Acts 1:8. As a church, we are actively involved in missions projects in our city, in our nation, and throughout the world. Some recent projects include:
Our city:
- Outreach to Central African refugees resettled in Rochester
- Participated in Flower City Workcamp
Our nation:
- Service project to Pleasantville Camp, PA (’07 & ‘08)
- Participated in Albany, NY youth outreach event through Foundation of Hope Ministries
- Participated in the Clear Blue Global Water Project
- Raised funds to build a playground for school/church in Maturin, Venezuela
- Supported the construction of the Minembwe Free Methodist Church in D.R. Congo
- Assisted Foundation of Hope in providing education for Gatumba orphans in Rwanda
- New Hope Mission Trip to Boliva (7/08)
- Other mission trips with New Hope participants: Ecuador (8/08), Rwanda (5/08), Namibia (5/07), Bolivia (4/07), & Russia (2/07)

Our current global outreach is focused on Latin America and Central Africa due to the relationships we have developed with missionaries, churches, and people from these regions.
