Mike & Amelia!

 Rev. Mike Traylor - Senior Pastor

Pastor Mike has been in ministry since 1997.  He most recently planted a church in greater Cleveland  with his wife Amelia. He has a background in medicine as a pediatrician, has a Masters in Public Administration from Cleveland State University, and received his seminary training at Ashland Theological Seminary.  Mike & Amelia have been married 21 years and have two children.  He and his son are avid Cleveland Cavaliers fans.  Pastor Mike & his family will be moving to Rochester the end of December.

 Rev. Amelia Traylor  Associate Pastor in Ministry with Youth.

Pastor Amelia is an accomplished singer and worship leader. She is also a fizition, having a medical practice as an OB/GYN.  Amelia & Mike have a son, 15 and a daughter 12.

Heritage Munyakuri - Local Ministerial Candidate

Heritage came to America with his family in 2007 and has provided pastoral care, translation services, Bible Studies and oversight of the Sunday evening “Foundation of Hope” prayer ministry at New Hope. 

 Dave Peelle - Assistant Pastor

Dave serves part time here at New Hope, in addition to his full time job at the City School District Administration office. Discipleship is implicit in Dave’s ministry focus. As part of his duties, Pastor Dave coordinates the ministry services & upkeep of our building. His efforts weave together the people of New Hope in service to one another and to the community. He had previously led the church’s involvement in our community’s BLOCK Ministry. Dave currently serves as Financial Secretary and a member of the Finance Team.

Jim Reeverts - Assistant Pastor
Jim holds an MS in education (SUNY, Brockport), an MA in Biblical Studies and an M.Div from Asbury Theological Seminary. He is an ordained minister with the Free Methodist Church who has specialized in youth ministry and Christian education. He has taught elementary science education since 1991 in the Churchville-Chili central school district. His interest in creation, the Scriptures and outreach led him to establish the local apologetics ministry, RTB/Rochester, an affiliate of Reasons To Believe(www.reasons.org).

Jim enjoys sharing his love for the Word of God and finding more ways God’s world testifies to His glory, enhancing the veracity of the Scriptures in the eyes of the skeptical public.

Jim lives in Churchville with his wife Karen. Together they have two grown sons.

  Princesse Munyakuri - Office Manager

Princesse serves part time in the office at New Hope. She provides essential communication and administrative links with and for our community.  This is a vital ministry and key to the effectiveness of our operational structure at New Hope.
